Beginner Spearfishing Charters

Come aboard our 30' Contender Center Console for an awesome introduction to spearfishing!

These trips are specifically tailored for beginner spearfishermen. It's an awesome introduction to the sport. We will be shallow water spearfishing some reefs located near Destin, Florida. We will be showing you the ropes and working on introducing you to the whole experience!

Most gear is included or available for these trip to include mask, snorkel, weightbelt/weights, fins, knife and spearguns. Wetsuit availability is limited so make sure to set that up in advance.

The Northern Gulf of Mexico is an amazing diverse fishery. Species you can expect to encounter include Mangrove (Gray) Snapper, Sheepshead, King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, and others! You never know what you'll run across on these trips. It's not uncommon to run across dolphins, rays and the occasional sea turtle!

We specialize in taking divers offshore to experience and see what this region has to offer. Our Captains and crew members are experienced divers and spearfishermen with many years diving under their belts diving these waters.  Reef depths we target start on these trips range from 15-20ft. Our water temps can vary from 50's in the winter to high 80's in the peak of Summer so make sure you come prepared with the right wetsuit! 

Our standard trip is 4 hours, $720 for the whole boat including all your divers or additional guests. We include ice and waters, any food or other drinks need to be provided by the customer. Other options are available and we can build a custom experience for you. Just contact us and let us know what you're looking to do!

$200 Non-refundable deposit is due to book a trip. If the Captain decides to cancel for weather we will refund.

Must purchase your own individual Florida Saltwater fishing license Here as well as the free State Reef Fish Angler permit.
